Blogging Break Over... My word of 2011 using Cherish Imaginisce Garden Party

My word for 2011 is "Cherish" so I made this decoration of DH, DD and me it's one of my favorites of us. We took this in 2007 it was a birthday gift to do the family shoot.  I had a lot of fun doing this something I usually don't do... recycling but this just was screaming for it I wanted to do something out of my norm and Imaginisce gave me that kick I needed with their Garden party line it was perfect  for this. I used their flowers, I-rock too, paperline,  Gluearts adhesive see below variety .  So enough rambing. I will show you the final project then a few steps I used to get there.   Here is the inspiration for the project!
Here is my final project and below are the steps I used to get there!

I was making Salsa and saved the can. I don't know what made me think I was gonna make this project but the wheels were turning with it.

Cut the can opening to the size you wish your opening to be depending what you want to view. So in this case enough for my photo
I filled this with Sand and put acrylic behind the photo but had forgotten and didn't take a photo when I did it.

I saved the lid to use as the candle stand  filled with marbles below

Well I was surely glad to get this project done and a new decore for spring it's been cold and just waiting for the arrival of Spring and this is perfect for that occasion. This was really fun and out of my box. Sorry that I didn't get the photo with the acrylic sheet but it was late and I was trying to make sure that I got it finished so I emptied sand and cut the acrylic and just went on good thing I took photos in the beginning I knew it was going to quick and Dh told me you need something so the sand doesn't come out front. Smart man that's what happened... Exactly So I'm glad that I got this done I had been working on a project and now that album is done.. So now on to my list of other things that I want to do one at a time.
Thanks for looking and hopefully this will get me back into blogging again. I just have been busy with work first month end , quarter end, year end and now another month end whew.! So I will have some time soon to do some more things for sun. I surely have missed my paper, glue and trimmer!
Products used, Imaginisce Garden Party line, Handmade flowers out of garden party line, flowers in Imaginisce line, brads from imaginisce,Die cut sticker word from Imaginisce garden party line.  Irock and gems from Imaginisce, Punch EK success, Martha Stewart punch.Adhesives were Hot glue glue arts, Glue arts pro, Glue arts adhesive squares(sticky awesome). Glue arts Extreme Tac as well.  Marbles were in my stash, Sand home depot, Empty can from cooking.
Recycle is not the norm for me but I find myself looking at everying can I use this crazy I tell ya.
