GRATEFUL FOR THE SCRAPPY WORLD

Grateful for so many things but today is about Scrappy world.....
I just wanted to take the time to say Thanks to all the people that keep up blogs with tutorials, video's , how to's ,sketches,contests, Fun , Designing, Scrappy cards and layouts.

I am so grateful to have so many friends that I have met via the internet some even in real life. It's touched my life in so many ways.. I even met a gal that we are good friends via the internet and we share the same birthday we are best of friends even have some of those that I don't share the same birthday but if you need them at a drop of a hat they will offer to do whatever it is. Most Scrappy girls are true gems.

My Best BFF doesn't blog and she can't be replaced.  She doesn't scrap that's ok we use to craft together but it's just not her thing as time grew, but she does love crafty things she has friends who make aprons, other scrappy gals but as I said she just doesn't do it. She has a beautiful Emma sewing machine and some day I think upon retirement she will do it we both talk about quilting someday and I do hope that happens but right now I don't even know how to sew I hope to learn sometime.. So many cute things that's for sure.. Just the other day I seen a cute wallet I would love to have in Coffee Material ahhh but alas I don't sew lol....

You know there is a lot of work that goes into Video's, hops, tutorials, design team... I have been on both sides of the coin. I appreciate each and Everyone of the designers that take their time to share their love of the craft to us.  I don't think they get enough recongition for what they do.  Yes they are compensated with product from manufacturers sometimes with product , but some people do it without the compensation.
Even the people getting compensated doesn't mean it's for all the work they do it's for the love of the craft not so much how much they get. It takes time to color with copics, think of an idea, do a schedule post, photograph the product , They do it for the love which I am grateful for.

So this is just a big thank you especially this season I have notice so much generousity on blogs , giveaways, people who pay it forward to less fortunate them themselves they don't keep it they give it to a friend who simply would love it but can't afford it. I tell you I am very sentimental about this because I have so many friends that are designers and I see what they do and how hard they work and I just want to say how much
I appreciate each and everyone who keeps a blog, posts, designs and shares..

I have been Obsessed with this Camera since Last Year

I really, really wish they would have a screaming deal at some point on this Camera a friend of mine had it last year and well he generally forgets to give us the photo's but I took a couple and it's like just the ease and beauty the pictures were gorgeous... He is a real camera buff... but I cannot stop wanting it lol... I guess it's worse with all the life changes you want to capture. The point and shoot I have is ok but this  I can even carry in my purse lol.. Yes I carry a big purse... Ahhhh.. Maybe Santa will drop it in my stocking.... Not thinking so but I thought I'd share this  Dh is a total Nikon Man basically thats mostly the only camera I've had and Sony point and shoot , but he is not gonna talk me out of this.. Lol...

Been "Busy with these Mini's for my sweet Niece

I didn't want to picture heavy it to much but the shape was different for me that's for sure. It was fun to do because she truly appreciates everything that I work on for her.   She makes me very proud she is a great student, volunteers, keeps up grades, great to her family... So I got this off in the mail and can work on a couple other projects. I will have another for her to do but can give her when I see her at Thanksgiving.. It feels so good to be scrappin again. It's been a long time.....

Wow See Cool Coffee layout and Happy Saturday

Ok so soon I will have a few layouts with no photo boy it use to be easy to do these it' been years since I've done this not so easy... but I will be showing soon.
Well I seen this coffee kit and thought it was paper and Julie I said I had to have it but I didn't realize the digi part so she sweetly offered to do a layout for me.. I just love this picture of DD she came out for her Junior high reunion a five year one.  So here is what she created with the kit from   Kckits

You know life always has something new for us in store but kids always bring the best of us. I know that my life is complete with this wonderful child.
She is just beyond description.  I thank god each and everyday he blessed me with her. She is gonna fight that fight and be that someone she wants to be.
I really hope she can fulfill all those dreams she has.
She brought my dreams it's hard to beleive another birthday is around the corner and she celebrates thems all month long so we need to be prepared.
Lol.. With all the health problems lately I just am grateful at this point that we've been as blessed as we were with everything.  Times change and well our focus sometimes isn't where we thought it would be and goes in another direction. All I know is that love will keep us together.!

Still Daddy's little girl

Daddy's little girl isn't so little.  I laugh because we know when she says Dad it's just conversation but when the phone rings and she says Daddy it means she needs something. This girl has brought so much joy to our lives each day I am so grateful for her as my husband.  She can be trying and not the perfect angel but I know that , she knows that and Daddy knows that. Dad will do whatever he can anytime for her and she knows that. They have a very unique bond. We all worry for each other..

How time flies

I just can't believe how time flies. In just a couple months my sweet little baby girl will have another birthday it's just so hard to imagine when I still remember vividly the day she was brought in to the world... I'll tell you she makes me so proud to call her my babygirl. I hate that she is 400 miles away and I cannot just hug her I miss not being able to take care of her not that she can't take care of herself. She is doing so well. She has such great worth ethic and trying really hard in school. She will make it I know she will. I love this girl so so so much

and let me tell you I'm so glad I did ..

Dear Courageous Girl,



One of the paradoxes of life is that sometimes the very best decisions have the most difficult consequences. And sometimes what is best is not what we want most. And sometimes when we want to feel peace, we have to do something that feels painful first. Sometimes we have to do such hard things, and there's absolutely no other way.



You can do it, though. You know what is the right thing to do...you know for sure in your gut, and deep in your heart, and a million signs have led you to what you are supposed to do. It still feels so scary, so difficult, and so impossible, even for a very brave girl.



Just know that most of the best things in life come after making the most difficult choices, and doing the hardest things, and taking the biggest risks.



You really can do this....and miracles are going to happen when you do.

Happy Saturday...
Here is Sketch #68 for unscripted I just thought this was such a fun sketch when the Amazing Sarah Kay who does most of our sketches came up with I could wait to do it and I have the perfect thing to do it.. I have been working on a mini for my niece for her sorority and I was able to use the sketch for the fun layout I did...

Here is the fun layout I did with it.

I have been wanting to use thenew Banner die that we just got in at Thoughts2paper so this was the perfect way to use it. So the next few sketches will be my nieces mini book. Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

CHA WHAT A WEEK AND A WHOLE LOTTA FUN CHICAGO , IL WAS SO FUN

This place was at Navy Pier we spent the entire day at Navy Pier what a blast we had. This place is famous for their cheezborgers but NO FRIES.. Yes that is correct no Fries served with your burger.

Here is our adopted Mom for the weekend. Thanks Shelly for sharing her with us. Shelly's Mom is just the cutest lady she kept up with us the whole weekend even at the show passed us all up. She was a ton of fun. Shelly is next to her Pinky and Rhonda they all decided to do ferris wheel on Navy pier not this chicken I sat and was bag holder and Ice Cream Sunday eater below and photographer. They had a great time on it and able to see so much...

We had a group meeting back at our hotel. We were able to meet the sweetest Southernbelle live. She drove in with her husband Brandon he put up with all us ladies. He was so nice and fun to meet. it was so great to finally meet her IRL She is jus so sweet. Then my Calif Girl Misty aka Karen and Eva the Queen of all cards and me in the way background. What a great lot of laughs. Well folks more to come Don't want to drag out to much but keep checking back. This was one heck of a trip and I can tell you it was one laugh after another.
