Day 23 Only two more days

Happy Sunday boy I love the scheduling aspect of blogger... Only two more days you are asking for what.. Well my baby girl turns another year old..yup that makes me another year old to yikes.. She is all grown up..Doing really well in school this semester. We are very proud of her. She isn't coming for Thanksgivng but she has plans there to spend it all day with her roommates family they do breakfast , cooking, games she is very excited. Then on Thanksgiving day it's Mama's birthday...

Day 21 Friday Yippee

Well 21 days into the month and before we know it Thanksgiving and the sales.. Anyone gonna stand in those lines.. I hear there is gonna be some extra super deals. I hope that is the case.. I won't be going in the lines.. If we go we are looking for a t.v. for the bedroom we are not gonna do shopping this year.. We will be scaling back and doing visiting and good cheer.. I am suppose to make Tamales will see how that goes.. I have a request for them for a gift but that gift is several hours in the kitchen I want to learn to make toffee I have to see if I can find the one recipe from a gal that use to make it for me.. I love love Toffee it is my favorite can't resist.. I love the California Brittle from See's oh yummo.... That's my favorite.. I am allergic to Coconut so I can't have anything with that I don't care for Dark Chocolate and Chocolate things to much in general but Toffee Omg I can eat it till I'm sick... LOl

DAY 20 AHhhh

Well another day of Naplablamo 20 days and I haven't missed a day yet... In the midst of moving yada yada...
It's already Thursday and end of the week..TGIF is next... I will get to go to Debbies to make cards finally I have not scrapbooked or anything since Teresa's in September..So I will be having a bit of fun for the weekend..Hopefully getting the stuff done but never enough time..
DH and I are suppose to have a date to see a movie.. Fireproof if we can find it if not... then we will see something comical... fun, goofy.. He is going to see 007 on Friday... He loves the movies..
I'm craving Taco's so we will probably have those sometime this weekend.. Need to get my Thanksgiving shopping done how about you.?

DAy 19 The older I get

The older I get the faster time flies by. Soon my little one will be another year old. She is no longer young can make her mind up on her own. She still needs mama for many things but she
really is all grown up.
The older I get the worse things sometimes seem to get my life has been in a downhill motion
since Februray I pray ,pray things will get better soon this is crazy that I have a fear of driving
I can't sleep at nite because I see us being hit by a car. I put on brakes when I see someone coming out of a driveway the thing is I'm the passenger so how does that work. The only way I can sleep consecutive now is to take a sleeping pill that does the trick for maybe 4-5 hrs depends on the day. I do not want to be on these medications a person can go broke taking this stuff. I've tried on my own to get off to see how things would be but it makes my condition worse even being on them I'm not 100%. I still have fear each time I get in the car I will be hit. I know accidents are random see psychartrist isn't gonna do anything for the fear.. That has been a suggestion plus I'm not a bank the insurance company expects me to bank roll them.. That's so fair I really want to be able to drive again without being in fear each time I get in the car it's been almost 9 months now since we've been hit and I still have fear the guy is either gonna come after us or something.. Maybe it's the age thing. All I know is I want my driving back my husband thank the lord for him drives me everywhere.. or Debbie drives when we go.. I just wanat that part of my life back maybe that will help with other parts.?

DAY 18 Thanks Sonia

My friend Sonia well I don't have a picture cause my computer is still dead with most of my pics on them.. I have known her since 1984 We worked together till 2003 that's how we meet We closed up the business and her mom had passed so in 2003. She stayed home for a bit you never really get over something like that.. Her mom was such a gentle soul and could only count on Sonia to help her She drove religiously each Sat or Sun to do her Mom's shopping medication cleaning whatever she needed to do .. She arranged her schedule to take her to the doctors whatever it was she was there. I still think of Jenny all the time & I think she sometimes watches over the both of us. Sonia and I have been thru the good , bad and oh so many drama's together, no matter what no arguing yes difference of opinion but not arguing. She is truly is just like a sister to me. Even though we don't see each other like we use to on a daily basis we keep in touch thru the internet Some days things have been real tough lately and she has done so many amazing things to help me get thru this.. Things I never expected as I am always the one thinking of way to do things for others .. I can't thank her enough for the help she provided thru this move.
Now we are even further apart distance wise but there is the good ol' internet.. I'm gonna get her going on the forum to.. Maybe even making a card or two.. She has a whole room devoted to crafts cause yes she use to be my side kick in scrapbooking but hasn't touched it in years all packed tight in that craft room of hers lol.. It's gonna come out someday. Anyways I just wanted her to know how much I love her and she has been a total savior lately

DAY 17 DAY OF REST

Today I am hoping that I can sit down and maybe do my card trade it's been since Sept the last time I did anything like this.. I have some pages that need to go in books we only found one that was bent .. Really I think overall I couldn't have been luckier only one jar lid broke and couple bent pieces of paper (which you can still do things with) and one layout that is kinda jumbled. but just that with how fast and everything was done.?
Teresa has to have knee surgery in January but totally will encourage her to do something to like this because there is so many people that need services like that.. My mom lives in Gilbert and someone left a flyer on her door just to help her organize and she feels like a whole new person just from that.
Hopefully I will also get those lonely pages that are uncovered and unprotected in some type of book>?
Well Happy Sunday....
I think we will make a pot of soup this way we have it for a couple days during the week and not so stressful cooking..

Hi Everyone...

Since Debbie doesn't have her blog yet.(but ummm it's being worked on by one of her awesome friends) hehehe... She is ok they did have mandatory evacuation last nite but they did not leave.. It was lifted this a.m. and things are ok for now.. Just pray for those who have not been as fortunate.. We think she'll be ok in the area but younever know about sparks that fly... I know that a couple people have called to inquiry... It's really tragic some of these homes and lives of these poor people.
Just when you think you have it bad you think how worse things could be.
So this is the 411 from the Scrappy Friends so they won't worry as much

Debbie suppose to come and bring the supervisor to finish up some more yup scrap stuff.. I have no idea where it's gonna go but I am bring a few boxes home each day mostly paper ...
Lol.. good thing Teresa is not here to spank me.. NO BUYING on hold for a very long time.
Debbie will have to be my monitor..
I totally appreciate her driving to come see what she can do...
She is just one of the bestest friends I have.. Thank you so much
I hope I get better soon! at least somewhat they call normal.?
So today hopefully I am gonna finish up some much needed laundry ...

DAY 15 1/2 THE MONTH IS OVER

The Holiday will be here and gone and another year yet started.. The older I get the more time seems to pass me by. I can't beleive that 1/2 of November is already gone. Enjoy your Holidays , good food and cheer. Hopefully things will be somewhat normal by Months end..
I'm hoping to get a card or something done.. To test out the work space..lol. I for sure have my work cut out for me.. I need to figure out how to use my stuff before I buy anymore.. No more for me.. that is paper , cardstock, flowers, ribbon, brads, buttons, paper... I need only consumables adhesives type things and right now I'm fine on that. If I am getting anything scrappy for xmas it needs to be QK dies, or cricut cartridge or Matts etc.. I do not need any more paper I have no place for any more it's ridculous how much I have. My husband laughed and says we must have had rabbits scrapbooking stuff because it mulitplied from our old place.. Now we have one less bathroom, bedroom hallway , washer dryer space.. So we are mising quite a bit of space..So of course it looks like it multiplied.. lol.

DAY 14.. I CAN'T BELEIVE HOW TIME IS FLYING

I can't beleive how fast November is really going.. The pups are adjusting to their new quarters and just cute as buttons.. I have not found my camera yet.? soon photos of the boys at the age of 1.. It's been cold so they also have new jackets they are so so cute they don't care for putting them on but once outside they are glad.. Even the cub baby wanted to be picked up he was so cold. They have been snuggling real close at nite.. The apt is really warm no heater needed great insulation that's for sure. We even slept with the door open thats how warm the inside is. We are adjusting and hubby is lost in the kitchen has no clue where a plate, cup , bowl it's hysterical.
LOL.
He's not even sure where his clothes is.. Why is this..
hmmm must have been all that unpacking he did lol....
Poor guy... he'll figure it all out.

DAY 13 DONE AT THIS POINT WITH WHAT I'M GONNA DO

Well what is gonna be done this week is done.. I have work that is far behind organizing thereYear end and so much to do.. I am totally overwhelmed with it all. So I will work a bit each nite doing something when I get home.. We have a very small tight quarters so it's a challenge to get it all.. but it works.. and comfie and cozy... I like it.. it feels safe and sound and I'll be ok when hubby is out of town. I don't really care for the one washing machine for four units.. lol.. I love the smaller duplex deal.. We tried to look a those .. It will all work out.. I just need to use my scrap stuff so that it can be neat and tidy to much unused things...Well soon I will be back with projects hehehehehehe..I really love the scheduling of things.. that's for sure... This has helped during the move a ton
I have lots of things at work and home and I'm thoroughly exhuasted... Mentally and physically so I need a couple days to just unwind afterwork.. I will work Saturday and Sunday I will work on the place..best I can do.

DAY 12 NEED TO MAKE SURE I DO NOT BUY ANYTHING

I have to say I never want to move that many boxes again I have to make an early New Year's resoulution to use what I have and not replace it.. OMG I can't beleive some of the stuff that I have and it's perfect to use but no I haven't used it.. Not a good thing.. I'm hoping that soon it will be used and I won't need any more storage or closets and those pictures will be in albums I carry not crates.. I can't beleive the pictures I have not scrapped yet... Well that's for another day... Here we are almost half way thru the month.

DAY 11 Things are calming down Thank U Friends

I love the scheduled blogging thingie new trick for old dog..here.. I haven't had much time.
But want to take take to Thank all of my friends
I have to say I am overwhelmed with the outreach of unexpected help I received. My best friends came to help unexpectedly which was so nice but tears of joy to have them there.
I would still be moving and cleaning if it wasn't for them ...
I don't get to see her to often but it's good to know she is always there..
Teresa drove from Az... to come and let me tell you.. Anyone needing help moving in a organized
quick manner she is the girl..She doesn't sit and made me feel guilty for sitting.. I can't thank her enough for the help she has provide. She is just the bestest of friends you can have ... I seriously would not even be close to being done if it had not been for her.. I owe her big time.
Thanks for all the emails and prayers I have received hope to be on line soon.. regularly normal but I have a busy, busy schedule and will be working a lot so but I do need to find some time for me to do some pages etc.
Another B.F.F.Debbie and the supervisor appeared and directed the scrappy direction so that will be a work in progress of course that's the last to be set up..but for right now i'm just grateful we don't have to drive that drive and that things turn around for us.
It 's been a bit colder here.. Well i should be back live not setting post up.. I think i have them set up thru the 12th.. but will be back after that.

I don't think they get enough recongnition for what they have done for us They should not have to struggle in life as they have defended all of us putting their life on the line for their country and all of us.
I am very proud of my husband for serving the country there is nothing that can ever repay him for his services

Not much to report today.....
I am running on less than 4 hrs sleep...
Went to sleep 11:30 and up at 2:50 a.m.
yup... and could not go back to sleep..
So I ventured thru paper work to bring and shredd at least now I don't have to go
thru that drawer I can't beleive how much shredding I have to do.. but at least I don't have to worry about filing it or dragging it with me.

Day 3 Woo hoo..

Well it's Day 3 I feel like I have no energy these days.
From the time I wake up till I go to bed it seems there is stuff to do.

I'm still packing, looking for a place ,working it just not enough hours in the day to do it all

but hey.. It will get done in time..

Day 2 who hoo So far so good ahhh..

Well it's Sunday and the 2nd day of the Month and two blog posts already.. Only 25 days more till Thanksgiving.. My mama's birthday is the actual day of Thanksgiving..Which mean Tricia birthday is coming soon.
Of course DD is also in there and counting the days.. She acts like the whole month of November is her birthday. It's hard to believe the time that goes by..
I will probably not lose one ounce of weight this month due to pumpkin pie eating.. darn it.. I just can't resist.. Last year for the first time I tried from Village inn a Candy Cane pie sounds gross buy oh yummilicious it is.. Pumpkin pie is my favorite in my younger days my mom would make me my own because I use to love it so much.. She doesn't bake them anymore easier to buy them lol. If I request she does but I haven't done that and since it's her birthday I won't make her do it this year maybe next.
Working today have the house probably 1/2 packed.. I've been trying to go thru and put donations bags, throw away and pack the stuff I will use I know there will still be things I open saying why did I just have to bring this but at least it will be lighter I have already donated at least 1o trash bags and filled up min of 6 of throw aways.. so that' that much less I will be taking with me.. The part that is scarry is my scrap boxes will probably equal the rest of the stuff we have in the house... but not willing to give those up.

I'm suppose to be working right now... So I will work on uploading some pic the pups will be one very soon and I'm hoping to have them a small little birthday photo shoot..I'm sure they will not be liking the party hats to much, I hope they cooperate otherwise I will have to do it without them. I can't beleive that a year will be soon well we didn't inherit them till Jan 25th when maybe I'll celebrate yet again lol. You can never have to many photos that's for sure.
So keep fingers posted and see if I can do this or at least how many days I can try to do it...
I'm packing up my stuff , trying to get ready for year end some filing, cleaning and all kinds of happy stuff lately.....

*There is so many things you can do
* I know I use to do this more often it doesn't always come back and repay you in any form other than self gratification, self satisfaction of being a good person sometimes it's the greatest gift of all you don't have to have money just a few minutes of your time or hours if you have those to spare......

She will be leaving soon so pray everyone for her safety, good health and safe return. She is one of the most giving people I have ever met.

I myself have been experiencing some difficult times in life myself, but when I look at them they are nothing compared to some of these people that have no home,family or anyone to lean on.

Homecoming 2008

Well this is my niece my Microsoft word is not working right so this dinky one will have to do for now.

This is her last year of High School.. She is very active in school.. She has been in Cheer all 4 years, asb, honors, and dances for another group besides everything..

I am a proud Auntie...

She has been nominated all 4 years of High School for the Homecoming Court including this year for Queen.. We won't know until tonite whether she is the Queen, but doesn't really matter she won two of three others she's been nominated for so hopefully this will be 3 of 4 since it's her last year...

She's a Winner in my books...

HE'S HOME NOW...

Thanks everyone for all your prayers and good wishes.. He's home now..
Hospital stays are the worse. I hate the smell of hospitals hubby is one who
hates being tied down to bed so this was a good place for him to make him rest otherwise he
doesn't. He has a series of more testing to go thru but he has no blockage right now which is
the best thing.. They gave us medication to stablize his heart he has six medications for various
things.. A diet to follow which will do both of us good cause I will be on it with him , exercise
This was caused by stress it awful what stress can do to your body. He needs to be careful with
his heart rate should be at 100 and it was 130 when they admitted him and 150 when he had
his heart attack in 2006 They kept him for various reasons the other being his blood pressure at
145/97 so between the combo the doctor was the least bit happy.. Six hours in emergency for
him they couldn't get his rate down so they have to give him a 12 hr drip iv deal like they did when he had his heart attack the miracle of modern medicine.. I kept him home from work today to watch him. Follow up on the appts Make sure his meds are not missed.. I set up a pill box for him otherwise he'll forget to.. ugh.. The heart indeed is nothing to fool with.. He has to comply with the test and orders of Doctor and I will be here to help him implement it all. It's pretty darn scarry him in the hospital like that not knowing what's wrong how they can fix it. Modern medicine has come so far these days..
I just want to thank everyone for all the emails, phone calls, and prayers they have sent our way I appreciate it all.

anywhere much till we figure out everything...

Well this week has been a fun week in the mail...

Me and Hubby seen this place advertise on Foodnetwork so if at all possible the place is within driving we usually check them out... I like their onion rings and hubby got a shake The other stuff we order was ok.. just a matter of taste preference with people it sure was crowded and they had misters and although lots of people were there the service was pretty quick.

Bad Blogger just to much going on.. to keep up

I am hoping soon things are settled so I can be normal again..

So hopefully by September I am hoping to have good news so
say prayers that things are good.. and turn out ok...

Grilled Potatoes on the Barbeque

Here is the ingredients you will need plus foil Suzy and I were
discussing how to make these so I thought I would give somewhat detail
Take two pieces of foil and cross them like a plus sign
Spray Olive oil on the foil usually you still have some that stick but not to many

Cut Potatoes with or without skins up to you. Pour Olive oil or you can use your favorite kind or butter
Pour Lipton onion soup mix

I missed the garlic but a table spoonful of garlic (onions shown you can use fresh or minced either is good)
I put two tablespoons of chopped onion I used my food processor or you can hand chop

Shredded Cheese I used the mixed you can use any kind you choose

Take the ingredients and mix them all up and toss you will have this look above

Take the first part of foils and meet it up then bent it down a few times

This is finished product to put on grill the one below is out of order
This should be above and fold this over

You will have this pocket put on grill I usually cook on top shelf of the grill and close the lid.

Close and wa la.. You will have the Grilled potatoes on the Grill I did not download the finish product I will do so it was real late when I thought about it and don't have camera.. I hope that you will try them they are so yummilicious Cooking time varies depending on your temperature I usually do mine for about an hour they are soft etc.. You can check depends how many potatoes and also how high it's piled lots of factors for cooking times

We went to Claim Jumpers for a fun nite out and dinner lasted 5 hours We had a lot of great laughs and fun .. It's always great to see these girls.. This is the first time I've met Natalie IRL

She is just as cute and sweet as she is talking thru the internet... Can't wait till I can go back and crop had a blast.

As a matter of fact I have meet all these girls from the Internet and developed the friendships. Thanks goodness for the Internet Forums and Scrappiness...

It was Hot so we bought this for the Pups

The pups enjoying the pool they were not really afraid to get in next time if we fill it less they will both sit in it was to high for them to but it really cooled them off which was a good thing.

Break from the daily Grind

7 MONTHS OLD NOW

These little guys are now 7 months old.. They are adorable not all the time.. They make you laugh at some of the things they do.. Very Entertaining... They love to eat Mail scrappy, or bills, adds you name it comes thru the mail hole and they are right there to munch on it... We are trying to figure out something to put there so we can make sure they don't eat the totals off the bills or take them and put them underblankets till the day they are due.. Gotta love it..

They pretty much do everything together Wherever one goes the other follows they have to be in the same room when sleeping... If one gets locked in a room by accident the other one will sit outside the door and cry..It's really funny how attached to each other they are.

June Already

I can't beleive almost a half year has gone by.. Where does time go..

I have a lot more scrapping to do if my gifts are gonna get out this year..

I made a post back about a couple new ablums I 've designed.. but the

laser is broke at the time and just waiting for the piece to repair it so that

the albums will be cut.. I can't wait will be fun to play with them...
